Understanding Life...

If there is one truth about life, it is its unhindered and continous change, for as long as the life remains.

There have been a number of philosophers who've tried to describe life but no one's ever reached a consensus about it. According to some, life is the name of continuous happening, continuous evolvement, continuous evolution... and all these phenomenon lead to one word, change.

I recently saw this movie called 'The Tree of Life' which also tried to describe the truth of life and I'll have to say the way the movie presented its concept was quite convincing. The movie gets you stunned by its visuals which were extraordinarily captured from all the ordinary things. And surprisingly, these are the ordinary things that confine the truth of life within them, ready to be explored, ready to be unearthed.

The movie covers a part of the life-span of a boy and depicts different phases of his life. How his parents are fascinated by his existence when he's born. How he grows up and takes his very first step. How he speaks his very first word. How he looks upto his parents in difficult scenarios which he does not understand. And ultimately, how he starts to understand things and starts detaching from his past, his parents.

There are so many things which I didn't understand at all but now things have started to fall in place. The reason behind this is nothing but the change and development brought by life.

Few years back a teacher, while making us read a sophisticated book, said, "These words are gonna remain the same, but they would mean different to you when you read them again in a few years". At that time, all I did as a response was make jest out of it but it was now that I realized that he was right.

Well, the movie just triggered a thought in my mind and I couldn't help writing it down. There's nothing I understand about life yet but I'm certain the change would continue... until the end.

Futile Weekend!!

A famous person once said; "You're either very creative or very disastrous when you're not you".

Now who could that famous person possibly be...

Doesn't ring a bell???

Okay, fine! I just made it up!

I came back to my blog because... seriously, I had nothing else to do. I could study, but that would do nothing but annoy me some more. I could watch movies, but I've had enough already (*impossible!*), I could listen to some music but that didn't contain me either.

Well, lets just talk about this crazy thing called 'Weekend' then. I've been giving this thing a significant proportion of my 'Recommended Daily Allowance' of thoughts lately.

What is a weekend? Now in the language of law, "that is a question of fact". For some, it is no different that a weekday, as it was for me a couple of months ago. However for some, it could mean coming back to life after having a robotic week.

Right now, I have this kind of 'strategy'. To make the most of the weekend! But you know, international fluctuations in the oil prices do affect the extent of fun a person can have.

So ultimately I'm just stuck here on Sunday doing nothing but writing this blog while I should be out partying or checking out some movie at the cinema.

Now, how could a weekend be put to use in its entirety?

Maybe by meeting old friends. But that won't work if they're busy shifting places or studying or watching Football! (:D)

So, after writing another useless blog post and without reaching a consensus, I'm gonna go and think of some new ways of making the most of the weekend.

*Watching some more of HOUSE...*

*Reading some already-read book...*

There was a time..

There was a time when everything felt like a source of smile...

There was a time when the slightest of humor made you laugh like crazy..

There was a time when nothing could penetrate the walls of your emotional stability..

There was a time when could laugh, sing and scream without any limitations..

There was a time when even the most depressing stuff could be let go without a second thought..

The only thing bad about that time was it's temporariness.. Why couldn't it stay for a bit longer!

And now there's time when everything feels to be caving in upon you..

Now there's time when your existence is given the least of attention..

Now there's time when you crave for freedom..

But the only good thing about this time is it's temporariness.. this too will go!
