The Exponential Increase in Worldwide Douchebaggery and the Role of Social Media - A (effin' awesome) Research!

Note: This blog post is not supposed to be read by people who are sensitive to foul language.I shall not be sued if anything contained in this post is considered offensive... otherwise get ready to take yer medicine!

INTRODUCTION

A significant increase in the use of profanities like; Fu*k you bi*ch, Shut the Fu*k up a**hole, You piece of sh*t etc has been witnessed in the past few years. The cause for the increase of such sh**ty behavior has not been found yet, however research work is under process. All the ethics experts are trying to work their a**es off to get to the fu*kin' root of the problem but seems like all their attempts have been going down the drain. Literally.

It was after the awful failures of such experts that I had to take the matter into my own hands. The thesis that would be proved through the research is whether a link exists between the social media and the use of such shi**y language.

LITERATURE REVIEW

Since this is the first ever endeavor at finding out the link between two such utterly opposite phenomenon, there hasn't been a SOB who happened to write anything on the topic. So lets just forget the effin' literature review!

For the purpose of this research, we take into account the most reliable of all sources... TWITTER!

You know if a celebrity as much as fa**s, it takes Twitter by storm. So you know there's nothing on Twitter that cannot be placed reliance upon.

When Twitter, and more specifically Rob Delaney, did not exist, the social media used to be much more... Miley-Cyrus-ish... of course when she was still with Disney.

However now, everywhere you see, it's full of profanities... even Miley Cyrus herself!

When Twitter was not there, people had to (yes, it's a shame but they had to) meet each other personally and there was no virtual wall between them that hid their faces from each other.

Now, when there is a virtual wall that helps you save yourself from all the kicks in the nuts, people have gone effin' crazy! They don't know sh*t about jokes, and all they write about is bon**s and stuff! I mean c'mon! We are so effin' civilized lot of people, we don't have to indulge in such sort of sh*t!

Seriously! It pi**es the hell outta me! Such language... such disrespect for Grammar... such obscenity! It's all effin' ridiculous!

CONCLUSION

So now that I've provided the users of my report with enough evidence regarding the link between the social media and foul language, I hope they'll know that this sh*t ain't gonna stop and it's gonna get even worse... even worse... and even worse!

Bonjour!

Understanding Life...

If there is one truth about life, it is its unhindered and continous change, for as long as the life remains.

There have been a number of philosophers who've tried to describe life but no one's ever reached a consensus about it. According to some, life is the name of continuous happening, continuous evolvement, continuous evolution... and all these phenomenon lead to one word, change.

I recently saw this movie called 'The Tree of Life' which also tried to describe the truth of life and I'll have to say the way the movie presented its concept was quite convincing. The movie gets you stunned by its visuals which were extraordinarily captured from all the ordinary things. And surprisingly, these are the ordinary things that confine the truth of life within them, ready to be explored, ready to be unearthed.

The movie covers a part of the life-span of a boy and depicts different phases of his life. How his parents are fascinated by his existence when he's born. How he grows up and takes his very first step. How he speaks his very first word. How he looks upto his parents in difficult scenarios which he does not understand. And ultimately, how he starts to understand things and starts detaching from his past, his parents.

There are so many things which I didn't understand at all but now things have started to fall in place. The reason behind this is nothing but the change and development brought by life.

Few years back a teacher, while making us read a sophisticated book, said, "These words are gonna remain the same, but they would mean different to you when you read them again in a few years". At that time, all I did as a response was make jest out of it but it was now that I realized that he was right.

Well, the movie just triggered a thought in my mind and I couldn't help writing it down. There's nothing I understand about life yet but I'm certain the change would continue... until the end.

Futile Weekend!!

A famous person once said; "You're either very creative or very disastrous when you're not you".

Now who could that famous person possibly be...

Doesn't ring a bell???

Okay, fine! I just made it up!

I came back to my blog because... seriously, I had nothing else to do. I could study, but that would do nothing but annoy me some more. I could watch movies, but I've had enough already (*impossible!*), I could listen to some music but that didn't contain me either.

Well, lets just talk about this crazy thing called 'Weekend' then. I've been giving this thing a significant proportion of my 'Recommended Daily Allowance' of thoughts lately.

What is a weekend? Now in the language of law, "that is a question of fact". For some, it is no different that a weekday, as it was for me a couple of months ago. However for some, it could mean coming back to life after having a robotic week.

Right now, I have this kind of 'strategy'. To make the most of the weekend! But you know, international fluctuations in the oil prices do affect the extent of fun a person can have.

So ultimately I'm just stuck here on Sunday doing nothing but writing this blog while I should be out partying or checking out some movie at the cinema.

Now, how could a weekend be put to use in its entirety?

Maybe by meeting old friends. But that won't work if they're busy shifting places or studying or watching Football! (:D)

So, after writing another useless blog post and without reaching a consensus, I'm gonna go and think of some new ways of making the most of the weekend.

*Watching some more of HOUSE...*

*Reading some already-read book...*

There was a time..

There was a time when everything felt like a source of smile...

There was a time when the slightest of humor made you laugh like crazy..

There was a time when nothing could penetrate the walls of your emotional stability..

There was a time when could laugh, sing and scream without any limitations..

There was a time when even the most depressing stuff could be let go without a second thought..

The only thing bad about that time was it's temporariness.. Why couldn't it stay for a bit longer!

And now there's time when everything feels to be caving in upon you..

Now there's time when your existence is given the least of attention..

Now there's time when you crave for freedom..

But the only good thing about this time is it's temporariness.. this too will go!

Post-Exams Freedom!!!

How often do you think about utilizing time in a predefined way?

Have you ever given any thought to making the most of your freedom?

I don’t know about anyone else, but those, who take time as a rare commodity, surely do so. Oh yeah! I mean those who have been blessed with never-ending exams by ‘those’.

Actual worth of time, and specifically the time to spend at your own discretion, is known only by a person who gets free from exams.

This unique feeling gives him repeated waves of excitement and happiness, as many times as he thinks about all the time he’s got.

He feels himself to be the luckiest person on earth. He can watch all the movies he wants, read all the books he wants, and go anywhere, like a free bird.

Getting free from exams is like breathing some fresh air, after being locked in some deepest dungeons, which have never seen a ray of light or felt a breeze of fresh air. Its only darkness everywhere down there.

All I can say is, be grateful for the time you’ve got and make the most of it. Cheers!

Examophobia !!

Have you started taking interest in things you normally hate?

Has every stupid futile thing is this world started grabbing your attention?

Do you feel like doing everything you normally hate?

Are you being attracted to Facebook more than ever?

If yes, I'm afraid you too have become a victim of 'Examophobia'. These symptoms are observed when the time left in exams is too short but the patient tries to calm himself down with these fake time killing activities.

I've been a victim for years. I know how it feels like when exams are nearer than ever and you're still not prepared.

Stress rises to an unfathomable level and there's no way out from this sticky exam web. Time starts to run thrice as fast as it normally does. A day seems to end as soon as it starts and at the end of the day, all a person does it pitying and regretting his lack of time management. Each passing second brings him closer to this great peril, contrary to his discretion.

When he gets mentally exhausted (for not doing anything) cause of all this stress, he tries to find ways to escape this situation. Then come the above mentioned symptoms.

Everything in the world starts to seem twice more appealing than it normally does. Everything but studies becomes the most enjoyable thing on earth. Facebook becomes a magical virtual world, games become awesome adrenaline filled roller coaster rides, movies become the most beautiful treat to visual senses. A person's perception regarding almost everything starts to change.

And when the situation reaches its most critical point, a person starts writing blogs.

Well, best of luck to those who are facing 'Examophobia'. Hope you guys find some interest in things which eventually pay off as well. Same goes for me.

Cheers !

To Dream Or Not To Dream !

The only thing which has no restrictions on it, which is completely free and you don't need to reach a certain age limit to have it, Dreams !

No one can stop you from dreaming and interestingly no one can force you to do so either. Dreams have been the reason behind marvelous inventions and discoveries and at the same time, they've served as a point of inception for huge destruction. Its a very interesting fact, a person's perception depends upon his ability to dream. If he dreams big, he is definitely an optimist. And if he's scared of his dreams being shattered, he's a pessimist.

'Dreams Do Come True', only if a person has that required level of zeal, enthusiasm and sincerity to make it come true. Nothing can throw hurdles on his way to success then. Nature designs his way and no other force is great enough to hamper the force of nature. There is no way he'll be unsuccessful then.

The intensity of dreaming depends upon a person's creativity and perception. If one has an impression that something is impossible to be done, it really would be impossible but only for 'HIM'. But if someone is determined to do the impossible, nothing can stop him then. Of course criticism might hamper his determination initially but this criticism can make his sincerity toward his goal even stronger. Such is the magic of constructive criticism.

Surprisingly this dream-big thing has been working quite fine for me. So go ahead and start dreaming !

Oh yes, you can even go and steal the moon (Despicable Me). Its all about dreaming big.

Cheers !
